A deep low-pressure system will bring heavy thunderstorms to more than 15 European countries in the coming days.
Arab Weather - The latest computer simulation outputs at the Arab Weather Center indicate a deep low-pressure system moving towards the east and southeast of the European continent in the coming days, accompanied by low atmospheric pressure values, which will lead to the development of a widespread state of atmospheric instability, interspersed with thunderstorms of varying intensity, which will be heavy in some areas.
According to weather maps, the chances of heavy rain and thunderstorms are concentrated over large parts of Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, eastern Poland, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, as well as parts of western Russia, where these areas are expected to experience heavy thunderstorms that may lead to local flash floods and rising water levels in low-lying areas, especially with heavy rainfall over short periods of time.
Rain will also extend, but at a less intense pace, to parts of the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia and northern Greece, where the rain will be scattered to moderate in intensity, with thunderstorm activity at times.
This weather disturbance is due to a deep low-pressure system centered over Eastern Europe, coinciding with the influx of warm and humid air currents from the Mediterranean and Black Seas towards the region, providing a suitable environment for the development of cumulonimbus clouds and widespread heavy rainfall.
And God knows best.
