Aqaba records the highest temperature in the Kingdom since the beginning of the year
Arab Weather - King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba Governorate recorded the highest temperature recorded in the Kingdom since the beginning of this year, according to official reports issued by the airport.
In detail , the maximum temperature in the city of Aqaba on Monday afternoon, between 3:00 and 5:00 PM, reached about 41 degrees Celsius, making it the highest temperature recorded in the Kingdom since the beginning of the current season.
This significant rise in temperatures is a result of the Kingdom being affected by a relatively hot air mass that swept in from the Arabian Peninsula, accompanied by extremely hot weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba regions, while hotter than usual weather prevailed in the rest of the regions.
Weather experts at Arab Weather indicate that the Aqaba Governorate is one of the regions of the Kingdom most affected by hot air masses during the spring and early summer, due to its geographical location and climatic nature.
Such conditions also lead to a noticeable increase in the feeling of heat, especially during the afternoon hours, which necessitates avoiding direct and prolonged exposure to sunlight and drinking plenty of fluids.
And God knows best.
