It is expected that during the hours of tonight, the northern parts of Georgia will be exposed to snow storms that will lead to heavy snowfall and significant accumulation, and with the dawn hours of Tuesday, the area of heavy snow will increase to include large areas of Georgia and the northeastern parts of Turkey, and during the morning and noon hours of Tuesday, Heavy snowfall is concentrated on the border areas between Turkey and Georgia and the northeastern regions of Turkey, specifically the Ardahan and Artvin regions.

This heavy snow continues to fall in these areas until the dawn and morning hours of Wednesday, so that the thickness of the snow in some highlands may reach about a meter.
