The latest weather readings indicate that the Kingdom will remain under the influence of stable weather conditions during the current period and until Thursday, the 8th of the month, with cold to very cold weather prevailing during the beginning of the week, especially during the night and early morning hours.

On Wednesday and Thursday, January 7 and 8, 2026, the Kingdom is expected to be affected by the leading edge of a low-pressure system, resulting in a clear and temporary rise in temperatures, especially during the daytime, with the weather tending towards relative warmth during the afternoon and evening periods, particularly in the low-lying areas. Maximum temperatures will approach the 20-degree Celsius mark over the high mountain ranges, while exceeding half of it in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

Rainfall will be heavy at times, and may be accompanied by thunder and lightning, and possibly hail showers, which may lead to the flow of valleys, the formation of torrents, and a rise in water levels on roads.
