The Greater Amman Municipality declares a state of extreme emergency to deal with the depression

Weather of Arabia - The Greater Amman Municipality declared a state of extreme emergency, starting tomorrow morning, Monday, to deal with the depression that is expected to prevail in the Kingdom, including heavy rains and strong winds, according to weather forecast centers.

The media spokesman in the Municipality, Nasser Al-Rahamneh, confirmed the readiness of the Municipality's cadres and mechanisms to deal with the depression around the clock, and called on the citizens, in the event of monitoring any observation, to contact the unified call center numbers (102 and 117180).

He called on the initiative to remove movable panels from the roofs of buildings that may be exposed to blowing, and to take care and caution to stay away from the streams of valleys and low areas, and not to connect the gutters of houses (the roof) to the sewage (sewage) outlets to avoid overflowing in the roads, and not to throw waste randomly to cause it to close. Rainwater drainage lines.

He also called for inspecting submersible pumps in floors and shops below street level, and for merchants to take preventive precautions when storing goods in warehouses and basements.

He called on contractors and owners of construction projects to take the initiative to secure building materials in order to avoid erosion and direct closure of rainwater drainage lines.
