The Maghreb countries are expected to remain under the influence of weather disturbances during the weekend, with chances of rain continuing on Thursday and Friday in the northern and central regions of Morocco. As for the Levant region, forecasts show that a colder air mass is approaching the region's atmosphere, which will renew rainfall over large parts of Syria, Lebanon and Palestine. The weather activity is expected to intensify on Saturday and Saturday night/Sunday, with the rain expected to become heavy at times and accompanied by lightning and thunder, in addition to heavy and accumulating snowfall over the high mountain peaks in Syria and Lebanon.
