The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission, Daifallah Al-Farajat, announced a decision to partially and temporarily close Jordanian airspace to all incoming, departing, and transiting aircraft, in light of current regional developments and an assessment of risks in accordance with international standards.

Captain Al-Farajat explained that this procedure will be implemented daily, with the closure starting from 6:00 PM until 9:00 AM the following day. This decision will remain in effect from tonight until further notice, in order to ensure the safety and security of civil aviation in Jordanian airspace.

The authority urged all travelers to contact the relevant airlines directly to confirm their flight schedules and follow up on any changes that may occur.
