Arab Weather - The latest analyses from numerical weather models indicate the continued influence of moderate air masses reaching the eastern Mediterranean basin. These air masses play a key role in preventing the deepening of hot air masses, which could lead to severe heat waves in the Levant and Jordan during the remainder of May and until the beginning of June.

These moderate air masses are continuously centered over the eastern Mediterranean basin, directing hot currents toward regions further east and south, thus distancing heat waves from Jordan and surrounding areas. Consequently, temperature fluctuations continue between hot summers and moderate springs.

A temporary rise in temperatures on Sunday and Monday, followed by a noticeable drop.

In confirmation of the above, God willing, the Kingdom is expected to be affected on Sunday and Monday by a relatively hot to hot air mass. However, it will not rise to the level of a heat wave due to the arrival of a moderate air mass in the second half of the week. Consequently, temperature fluctuations will continue over the coming days, God willing.
