Saudi Arabia: Continuous thunderstorms in the southwestern highlands

The chances of thunderstorms continue over the highlands of Jazan, Asir and Al-Baha, sometimes extending towards parts of the Makkah region, as a result of the activity of mountain clouds during the afternoon hours.

Yemen: Severe weather disturbances with chances of flash floods and thunderstorms

The unstable weather conditions continue over the western highlands, with thunderstorms that may be heavy at times.

The situation is accompanied by clear thunderstorm activity and hail showers, which increases the likelihood of valleys and ravines overflowing and flash floods occurring in some areas.

The Levant region: Unusually humid air currents and chances of scattered showers

Forecasts indicate that parts of the coasts will be affected by humid air currents that are unusual for this time of year, leading to the formation of low clouds.

These conditions create an opportunity for scattered showers of rain at intervals, especially on the Syrian and Lebanese coasts and parts of the Palestinian coast, and may sometimes be accompanied by thunder.

North Africa: Widespread unrest affecting several Arab countries

Large areas of North Africa, including Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco, are experiencing scattered rainfall, with thunderstorms occurring at intervals.

Some rainfall may be accompanied by wind activity and reduced horizontal visibility.

Sudan: Continued tropical humidity activity and rainy weather.

The flow of tropical moisture from the south continues, leading to renewed activity of cumulonimbus clouds and rainfall over large areas of South Sudan, with the rainy weather continuing.
