Arab Weather - Various regions of the Kingdom are currently experiencing relatively cold weather, and the weather is expected to get colder in the coming hours, with the cold weather reaching its peak during the dawn and morning hours, especially in the southern regions, in addition to the eastern plains.

Minimum temperatures in the coming days are classified as cold in the south of the Kingdom.

Latest numerical model outputs indicate that minimum temperatures will drop to between 10 and 12 degrees Celsius over the high mountain peaks and plain areas, while minimum temperatures will be less than 9 degrees Celsius over the peaks of the Sharah Mountains, amid cold weather that may require the use of heating equipment. These minimum temperatures are the coldest in several months.

Recommendations for wearing a light coat to cope with the cold in the early morning hours

Late at night, the weather becomes unsuitable for outdoor gatherings due to the combination of relatively cold conditions and high relative humidity, as well as occasional active northwesterly winds. Therefore, Arab Weather recommends wearing a coat to accommodate the relatively cool conditions during the dawn and early morning hours in the high mountainous areas and eastern plains.

High humidity and fog in some areas

Humidity levels will rise significantly in the coming nights, exceeding 90 percent in some areas. Fog will form in the high mountains and some areas of the eastern plains at dawn and early morning, reducing horizontal visibility.
