Jordan: The hot air mass continues to linger near the Kingdom, but for how long?

Arab Weather - Computer simulation maps at the Arab Weather Center indicate that hot air will continue to linger near the Kingdom in the coming days, God willing. Therefore, temperatures will remain above average and the weather will remain closer to summer than to autumn, especially on Sunday and Monday, November 9-10, 2025.

The Arab Weather app predicts a return of temperatures to 30 degrees Celsius.

Temperatures are expected to drop slightly at the end of the week and remain 3-5 degrees Celsius above average. The weather will be mild, tending towards warmth in the afternoon with the appearance of high clouds, and the maximum temperature will reach the mid-twenties Celsius in the capital, Amman.

The Arab Weather app indicates the return of the deepening Red Sea depression and the relatively hot air mass on Sunday and Monday, so temperatures will rise further in all regions of the Kingdom to be about 7 degrees Celsius above average for this time of year, and the weather will be closer to summer (relatively hot during the afternoon and evening hours).

Maximum temperatures will be around 30 degrees Celsius in major cities, including the capital Amman, while exceeding half of that in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and the city of Aqaba.

How long will the hot air persist near the Kingdom?

According to the Arab Weather app, initial indicators suggest that temperatures will gradually and successively decrease starting from the middle of next week, as a result of the gradual distancing of the relatively hot air mass and the approach of air currents with lower temperatures.

With this expected decline, the weather tends towards moderation during the day and coolness at night, especially in the mountainous regions and eastern plains, which restores the weather to its usual autumnal nature after a period of exceptional warmth.
