Jordan: The heat dome is approaching the Kingdom for the first time on this date.
Arab Weather - The Kingdom has witnessed typical summer weather for this time of year during the past few weeks, as temperatures have not risen above their usual averages except in limited and short periods, as a result of the heat dome being centered far from the Kingdom and settling over parts of the Arabian Peninsula.
Computer simulation results at the Arab Weather Center indicate that the same weather conditions will continue for the next few days, and temperatures are expected to decrease on Saturday and Sunday as a result of the influx of refreshing maritime air currents coming from the eastern basin of the Mediterranean Sea, so that the maximum temperatures will be in the high twenties Celsius in many regions of the Kingdom, which is lower than their usual averages for this time of year.
Jordan: Heat dome approaches the Kingdom for the first time in the second half of the week
However, future indicators have begun to show a gradual change in weather patterns during the second half of next week, as the heat dome is expected to approach the Kingdom’s atmosphere between the 16th and 20th of this month, which may be accompanied by the flow of hotter air masses in the lower layers of the atmosphere towards the region.
Based on current data, the Kingdom is expected to witness a gradual and noticeable rise in temperatures during that period, with maximum temperatures reaching the mid-thirties Celsius and perhaps exceeding that in some regions and days, with the weather turning relatively hot to hot during the daytime hours in various regions of the Kingdom.
However, according to scientific data, the expected rise in temperatures does not amount to what is known as a heat wave, but it is still under observation.
And God knows best.
