Jordan: A low-pressure system is approaching, bringing unstable weather conditions this afternoon and evening to several areas.

Arab Weather - The latest satellite images at the Arab Weather Center indicate that the low-pressure system is approaching the region, which is expected to cause a state of atmospheric instability starting from the afternoon and evening hours, concentrated in the southern regions and expanding towards the rest of the regions, as rain clouds advance from southern Palestine towards the south of the Kingdom, including the Aqaba Governorate, which may be interspersed with thunder cells accompanied by heavy downpours and hail, which may lead to the flow of valleys and the formation of torrents.

These rain clouds are advancing towards the desert regions, as well as parts of the central regions, the capital governorate, and parts of the northern and eastern regions, accompanied by rain that is sometimes thundery and may be accompanied by local hail showers.

Recommendations

1) It is recommended to stay away from valleys, streams and torrents, due to the possibility of them flowing with rainfall in the evening hours in the south of the Kingdom.

2) Be aware of reduced horizontal visibility in desert areas due to dust.
