Several reasons contribute to a significant drop in temperatures at night:

Low humidity and no cloud cover

Experts at Arab Weather said that the low humidity in all layers of the atmosphere and the absence of cloud cover increases the coldness of the atmosphere at night, as the presence of cloud cover helps reflect the terrestrial radiation that the earth acquired during the day due to solar radiation, and thus the presence of cloud cover during the night prevents temperatures from dropping significantly.

Weather forecasters said that the current period is witnessing an increase in night hours due to the Earth’s continued tilt away from the sun, and thus the night hours increase and the Earth loses during this period the largest amount of solar radiation gained during the day, so temperatures drop during the night and dawn and we feel colder than ever.
