Jordan: Detailed weather forecasts for the Eid holiday period released, with temperature variations the most prominent theme.

Arab Weather - Meteorologists at the Arab Weather Center said that weather forecasts for the Eid holiday period indicate that the Kingdom will witness varying temperatures, but the general atmosphere during the day will be pleasant to warm, while it will be relatively cold during the night and early morning, requiring wearing a warm coat, God willing.

Expected weather conditions in Jordan starting Saturday and during the Eid holiday:

Saturday (the last day of Ramadan, astronomically speaking): Temperatures will drop significantly, but remain about two degrees Celsius above average. The weather will be partly cloudy and generally pleasant, with low clouds appearing that may lead to light rain in the north of the Kingdom in the morning.

Parts of the southern and eastern parts of the Kingdom are affected by unstable weather conditions, with heavy thunderstorms, hail, and flash floods.

Winds will be moderate westerly, while in the Badia regions and the desert road between Aqaba and Ma'an, winds will be active to strong southwesterly, causing dense dust waves.

Saturday/Sunday night: The weather will be relatively cold to cold with scattered clouds, and there is a possibility of rain showers in random areas.

Sunday (the first day of Eid al-Adha, astronomically speaking): Temperatures will be about 2 degrees Celsius above average, with spring-like conditions and pleasant, sunny weather during the day in most areas (warm in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea). As for the eastern Badia, the weather will be cloudy in the morning, with a possibility of thunderstorms.

Temperatures will drop at night, Sunday/Monday night, and the weather will become relatively cold to cold at night, with minimum temperatures in the capital, Amman, reaching around 10 degrees Celsius, God willing.

Monday and Tuesday (the second and third days of the Eid holiday): Temperatures will rise again, becoming about 5 degrees Celsius warmer than average. The weather will be spring-like and warm in the mountains, relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with the weather cooling off at night.

Wednesday (last day of Eid holiday): Temperatures will drop significantly, and the weather will be generally pleasant during the day, becoming relatively cold to cold at night, God willing.
