Jordan: A bitterly cold night as temperatures plummet to zero degrees Celsius again

Arab Weather - Weather experts said that the Kingdom began last night to be affected by the extension of the Siberian high pressure system, which led to extremely cold weather prevailing in various regions. The experts indicated that this effect was accompanied by the formation of frost during the early morning hours of today in several regions, in addition to the occurrence of freezing in some regions, as a result of the significant drop in temperatures.

Temperatures are expected to drop again during the evening and night hours of Tuesday/Wednesday, as the Kingdom is increasingly affected by the Siberian high-pressure system and the accompanying very cold continental air mass. Temperatures are expected to approach zero degrees Celsius in large areas of the Kingdom, and may even be lower, especially in the high mountainous areas, the eastern plains, and the eastern desert.

As a result, the possibility of renewed freezing and frost formation cannot be ruled out during the late hours of next night, in addition to the morning hours of Wednesday.
