Jordan: How long is the heat wave expected to last?

Arab Weather - The Kingdom will be affected, God willing, by a heat wave starting Friday. According to Arab Weather maps, temperatures are expected to reach 40 degrees Celsius in large areas of cities and villages, and may exceed that in regions, especially the eastern ones, including east of the capital, Amman ( 5 important things you should know about the coming heat wave ).

The Arab Weather team has received numerous inquiries about the expected duration of this heat wave. In this report, we review the initial forecasts for the coming heat wave's duration and, God willing, what the computer mapping outputs from the Arab Weather Center indicate.

How long will the heat wave continue to affect the Kingdom?

In answer to this question, the heat wave is expected to begin on Friday, August 8, 2025, and continue until Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at the earliest. Simulation updates indicate that the extremely hot air mass causing the heat wave may persist in the Kingdom's atmosphere for a longer period, lasting until the end of the week, but with varying intensity from day to day.
