At the beginning of the day, the weather is expected to be mostly sunny and generally stable with easterly winds and temperatures rising further, with the weather being generally hot and the maximum temperature around 30 degrees Celsius in many Jordanian cities.

During the afternoon, evening, and night, there will be a significant change in the weather, with a chance of thunderstorms and an increase in dust levels in the atmosphere.

As the Khamsin low-pressure system approaches, clouds will increase over different regions of the Kingdom during the afternoon, evening, and night hours, and the opportunity will gradually arise for thunderstorms to occur in random and scattered areas of the Kingdom, including the Dead Sea region and scattered parts of the north, center, and east of the Kingdom, and some southern regions.

Rainfall will be heavy at times - God willing - in some areas, and may cause valleys to overflow and flash floods to form.

Dust levels are rising in the atmosphere in various regions, especially the southern and eastern regions of the Kingdom, and this reduces horizontal visibility.

High waves in the Gulf of Aqaba during the afternoon and evening hours

Despite the expected calm sea conditions in the Gulf of Aqaba during the morning hours, the sea is expected to become rough during the afternoon, evening, and night hours, with expected wave heights ranging from 60 cm to 1 meter.
