Arab Weather - The weather forecasting team at the Arab Weather Regional Center is monitoring developments of weather systems affecting the Arabian Gulf region around the clock. The latest computer simulations indicate that parts of Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, and the UAE will be affected on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, by a state of atmospheric instability, accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity and significant activity in winds that stir up dust and sand. Meanwhile, relatively stable conditions prevail in Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.

Saudi Arabia | Seasonal rains continue to affect the Al Hajar Mountains.

The latest weather forecasts issued by the Arab Weather Center indicate that cumulonimbus clouds will continue to form over the highlands of the southwest of the Kingdom, including the regions of Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha, with the possibility of moderate to heavy rainfall at times.

Some of these clouds are likely to extend later to include parts of Taif and eastern Makkah, with the possibility of flash floods and valleys flowing in some low-lying areas.

Qatar | Stable weather and hot conditions in Doha

Weather maps at the Arab Weather Center show that the weather in the capital, Doha, and most of Qatar is stable and hot in the summer, with highs around 45°C, while lows tonight drop to around 30°C.
Winds will be generally moderate northerly to northeasterly, and may become active at times, but there is no chance of rain.

UAE | Possible thunderstorms in the east

Forecasts indicate the formation of thunderstorms over the eastern highlands of the country, especially in the Al Ain and Al Khazna areas, where light to moderate rain is likely to fall locally after noon.

In coastal areas such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the weather is relatively hot and humid, with temperatures ranging between 39°C and 42°C.

Sultanate of Oman | Thunderstorms over Dhofar and the Al Hajar Mountains

The southern and southeastern parts of the Sultanate are affected by local thunderstorms in the Dhofar region and the Al Hajar Mountains, which may be accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity.

Warnings are issued regarding the risk of flooding in some low-lying areas due to heavy rainfall, especially in the evening.

Bahrain and Kuwait | Hot and stable weather

The weather in both Manama and Kuwait City remains generally stable, with maximum temperatures ranging between 42°C and 44°C.
Winds will be light to moderate northerly, and no rain is expected in either country.
