Riyadh | Red alert issued for heavy rain, lightning, and hail in 6 governorates

Arab Weather - The National Center for Meteorology issued a red warning today about the renewed impact of unstable weather conditions on large parts of Riyadh.

It is expected that (Zulfi, Al-Ghat, Al-Majma’ah, Shaqra, Marat, Thadiq) will witness heavy rain, strong winds, hail showers, thunderstorms, flash floods, and a lack of horizontal visibility due to the heavy rain.

The latest outputs of the numerical models available through the Arab Weather application and the outputs of the Saudi numerical model of the National Center for Meteorology still indicate that many regions of the Kingdom will continue to be affected by a rainy weather system of varying intensity.
