Al-Zaqaq: Al-Wasm is the best rainy season in the region

<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr">Arab Weather - Dr. Khaled Al-Zaaq, presenter of the &quot;Taqwim&quot; segment on Al Arabiya channel, explained that the &quot;Al-Wasm&quot; season is one of the best rainy seasons in the region, as many important weather phenomena occur during it, pointing out the types of clouds and their characteristics.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><h2 style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Types of clouds and their characteristics</h2><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Regarding clouds, Al-Zaqaq explained that there are three main types: high, medium, and low clouds. He pointed out that high clouds are generally not rainy, while medium clouds are not rainy when they are high, but they become rainy when they descend. As for low clouds, they are the clouds that bring rain.</p><h3 style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <strong>Division of the &quot;Wasm&quot; season</strong></h3><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Al-Zaqaq pointed out that the “Al-Wasm” season is divided into two parts: the first is the “arithmetical wasm”, which lasts for 52 days, and the second is the “real wasm”, which lasts for 92 days.
