Saudi Arabia: 1 million km of the Kingdom's area under rainy thunder clouds

Arab Weather - Live satellite images that were received and processed at the Arab Weather Center (with a link) indicated that large amounts of rainy and thunderclouds now cover an area of about 1 square km of the Kingdom and irrigate it with good rain. The same images indicated that thunder clouds cover all of Riyadh, and are attached to the papyrus on the heights of Taif and Makkah, in addition to the presence of rain clouds to the south over the Wadi Al-Dawasir area. These images also indicate the presence of thunderclouds with papyri surrounding Al-Qassim and Buraidah, and the Hail region is surrounded by dense thunder clouds. And now, large bundles of rainy thunder clouds are moving towards Dammam, Jubail and Khafji in the eastern part of the Kingdom. For hours, the areas of Neom, Tabuk and the coasts of the Gulf of Aqaba have witnessed rainy thunder clouds.

All this comes within the effects of one of the strongest and most comprehensive rainy conditions for many years, affecting the regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states, which are expected to continue to receive their effects during the next 24 hours, before they begin to gradually decline. However, specialists in the Arab Weather Center point out that rainy conditions will recur during the coming weeks in January 2022.
