With this picturesque transformation, the place has become an attractive destination for hikers and desert lovers, who flock to enjoy nature.<br /> Photographer Abdulrahman Ibrahim Al Majed documented a distinctive group of photos showing the beginning of spring, where wild plants covered vast areas, adding a unique charm to the natural landscape. Al Majed also captured the beauty of the historical caves embraced by the Qatan Mountains, completing a captivating natural painting.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><h2 style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Geographical location of the Qatan Mountains</h2><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The Qatan Mountains are located west of the Qassim region, near Uqlat Al-Suqur, and are a popular destination for hikers, especially during the winter and spring seasons when the area is adorned with breathtaking natural beauty.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Qattan Center, one of the centers of Al-Qassim region, is located approximately 245 kilometers from Buraidah city. The center is characterized by the presence of a paved road connecting it to the Al-Qassim-Al-Madinah road, with a length of approximately 17 kilometers, which facilitates access to the region.<br /> The Qatan Mountains are famous for their variety of colors and shapes, including Qatan Mountain, which the historian Al-Aboudi described as a very red mountain. According to Al-Nuqaidan in his book, Ard Al-Qassim, those who were terminally ill during Hajj trips were left in these caves to avoid transmitting the infection to the group. Their food was left with them to eat until they died.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The Qatan Mountains include many diverse natural formations of mountains of different colors and sizes, in addition to waterfalls that add exceptional beauty.
