Saudi Arabia | Construction of a 136 km road linking the Asir and Jazan regions

<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr">Weather of Arabia - The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia plans to construct a main road extending over a distance of <strong>136 kilometers</strong> , linking the regions of Asir and Jazan. The details of building this road were revealed for the competition, as the General Authority for Roads, in cooperation with the National Center for Privatization and the Asir Region Development Authority, announced the opening of registration for the construction The highway connecting the two regions.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> This competition aims to attract highly qualified road construction companies to ensure the best service and traffic safety for the project.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The road extends for <strong>136 kilometers</strong> from the Al-Faraa area in Asir to the Red Sea coast via Jizan, and consists of three lanes in each direction, and includes <strong>6 intersections, 57 bridges with a length of 18 kilometers, and 11 tunnels with a length of 9.2 kilometers.</strong></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The project was launched under the <strong>“Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Maintenance (DBFOM)”</strong> model with a contract extending for 30 years.
