Saudi Arabia launches the `Distinguished Safe Roads` campaign for the third year in a row, in preparation for the Hajj season

Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, launched today, Sunday, the &quot;Safe Distinguished Roads&quot; campaign for the third year in a row; With the aim of surveying the road network between cities, which contributes to raising the level of safety and maintenance on the road networks in the Kingdom, coinciding with the Hajj season this year 1444 AH.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Al-Jasser explained - according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) - that the campaign aims to raise the efficiency of the long road network and the level of safety, and to provide the best services provided to the guests of Rahman coming through the land ports to perform the Hajj rituals and for travelers, visitors and users of the road network, noting the ambitious goals of the national strategy for transportation and logistics services. Which aims to enhance road quality, rates and safety, maintain infrastructure and consolidate the Kingdom&#39;s global leadership in the interconnection of the road network.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The campaign is launched to survey the road network between cities, which exceeds 73 thousand km, and more than 3,700 bridges, over the course of 5 continuous days, with the participation of more than 550 members, divided into 62 teams in various regions of the Kingdom, in addition to a complete survey of the national network during One week using a number of modern techniques such as road testing by drone, and other modern technologies that ensure the quality and accuracy of the survey work.</p>
