Saudi Arabia | Increase the capacity of the Grand Mosque in Ramadan to 50,000 pilgrims and 100,000 worshipers

Arab Weather - An official source at the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque stated that based on the wise leadership’s keenness, may God preserve them, for the health and safety of pilgrims and worshipers of the Holy Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan , it has been decided to raise the capacity of the Grand Mosque in Makkah to (50 thousand) pilgrims And (100,000 worshipers) per day, for immunized people, according to what the (Tawakkilna) application shows for vaccination categories (a vaccinated who received two doses of the Corona virus vaccine, or a vaccinated person who spent 14 days after receiving the first dose of the vaccine, or a person recovering from infection) starting From 1 Ramadan 1442 AH, while adhering to the precautionary measures and preventive measures.

According to the newspaper "Sabq", the source confirmed that the only approved platform for taking Umrah and prayer permits is through the application "Umrah" and "Tawakolna", calling to be wary of fake platforms and fake sites, and to make sure of the dates and dates according to the registrant through the application.

The source also indicated that entering the Grand Mosque requires displaying the permit to the competent authorities through the application (Tawakolna), and that is directly from the account of the pilgrim or the worshiper.
