Saudi Arabia: The end date of the cold wave’s impact on the Kingdom

Arab Weather - The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the countries of the region have been affected for several days by a cold wave resulting from the rush of a very cold air mass from the north and center of the European continent to the eastern basin of the Mediterranean Sea and the north of the Arabian Peninsula and extended to the center of the Kingdom, Iraq and Kuwait, accompanied by a noticeable and significant drop in temperatures.

The end date of the cold wave in the Kingdom

The latest computer simulation results of the movement of air masses at the Arab Weather Center indicate that, God willing, the effect of the cold wave is expected to gradually recede from the Kingdom in the coming days, so that temperatures will rise, whether maximum or minimum, but the atmosphere will remain cold during the day in large parts of the north, center, and east of the Kingdom and the southwestern highlands, and remarkably cold during the night hours, especially in the northern regions.

Heading towards the middle and end of next week, temperatures are expected to rise to their usual levels in most areas, with pleasant weather prevailing during the day, but remaining cold at night in most areas, and even cold in the northern regions.

No rain on the horizon!

According to the same weather maps, there are no near or medium-term indications that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be affected by any rainy weather conditions due to the control of high-pressure systems in the upper and middle layers of the atmosphere.
