Saudi Arabia | Text of King Salman's speech on the occasion of Ramadan

<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr">Weather of Arabia - The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect him - addressed a speech to the citizens and residents of the Kingdom, male and female Muslims, on the occasion of the month of Ramadan for the year 1444 AH.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The following is the text of the speech, which was honored to be delivered by His Excellency the Minister of Information, Mr. Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari:</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, who says in His Noble Book: “O you who have believed, fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may become righteous.”</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> And prayers and peace be upon the most honorable of the prophets and messengers and upon his honorable and pure family and companions.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> My sons and daughters..</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> My brothers and sisters, citizens and residents of our dear country, dear Muslims.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> May the peace, blessings, and mercy of God be upon you:</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> I congratulate you on the blessed month of Ramadan and Happy New Year...</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> We thank God Almighty that we have reached this holy month, the month of the Qur’an, mercy, forgiveness and liberation from the flames. We ask Him, by His grace and generosity, to help us to fast and pray during it, and to guide us to do good in it.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> my brothers and sisters ..</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> We thank the Lord, His Majesty, for the bountiful blessings He has bestowed upon us, both visible and hidden. Among the highest of those blessings is that He singled us out for this blessed country as the place of revelation and the direction of prayer for Muslims. We were honored to serve the Two Holy Mosques and serve the guests of God, including pilgrims, visitors and Umrah performers.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia spares no effort in securing means of comfort and safety for them, and takes care of providing all services since their arrival in this blessed country to perform their rituals until they leave to their countries safe and sound.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> O Muslims in the east and west of the earth...</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The month of Ramadan is a blessed season in which good deeds are multiplied, and an opportunity to seize good deeds, uphold ties of kinship, and purify souls. I ask God Almighty, on this blessed night, to help us to seize his days and nights in good obedience to Him, and to perpetuate success and payment for us, and to protect our country and the whole world from all evil. , he is eloquent.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Peace, mercy and blessings of God.</p>
