  • The influence of the high pressure system in the upper atmosphere gradually recedes, allowing autumnal air masses to advance toward the northern Arabian Peninsula. Temperatures begin to gradually drop, and the weather becomes more moderate in the northern regions. Meanwhile, humidity levels rise on the coasts of the Arabian Gulf, increasing the likelihood of fog formation on some days. Meanwhile, the southwestern and western highlands of Saudi Arabia, as well as parts of the Sultanate of Oman and the UAE, continue to be affected by tropical moisture flows during the first third of the month. Rainfall chances are expected to decline as we enter the second third, with limited chances of scattered local showers remaining. Meanwhile, humidity is expected to rise significantly along the Red Sea coast.
