The capital, Amman, records the highest temperature ever in 100 years

Weather of Arabia - An official air navigation report issued by Amman Civil Airport in the Marka region showed that the maximum temperature there on Monday 8/14/2023 was recorded at about 43.7 degrees Celsius.

And by returning to the airport's archival monitoring data, which extends back to the past 100 years, since the days of the Emirate of Transjordan, the recorded temperature is the highest ever since the start of climate records.

And the prevailing atmosphere in the Kingdom is considered very unusual, as temperatures rose from their usual rates for this time of the year by more than 10 degrees Celsius, as a result of the control of a very hot desert air mass coming from the Arabian Peninsula, which caused a blazing atmosphere.

And the Arab Regional Weather Center called on citizens to follow weather forecasts and updates, and to take warnings and public safety instructions seriously.
