Arab world: Unstable weather conditions and rain expected in 11 Arab countries in the coming days

Arab Weather - Weather experts at Arab Weather reported that large areas of the Arab world will be affected during the coming days by unstable weather conditions, accompanied by thunderstorms of varying intensity, which may be heavy at times and accompanied by lightning, thunder and hail in some areas.

The following are details of the weather conditions and chances of rain in the Arab world during the coming days:

Wednesday, April 29, 2026:

• Maghreb and North Africa: Northern and central Morocco, as well as large parts of Algeria, continue to be affected by unstable weather conditions, accompanied by thunderstorms that may be heavy at times, and which are expected to extend at night towards the central parts of Tunisia.
• The Levant: Rainfall chances remain limited and sporadic in the eastern and southern deserts of Jordan and parts of Syria, while it will be heavier and more intense in northern Iraq, extending during the night hours towards the central regions but with less intensity.
• Arabian Peninsula: Thunderstorms are expected to continue over parts of central Saudi Arabia, as well as the southwestern highlands, according to the National Center for Meteorology. Rain is also expected in the western highlands of Yemen, which may lead to flash floods in some areas.
