Weather of Arabia - The International Astronomy Center announced that the central conjunction (central conjunction) of the month of Muharram will occur on Friday, Dhu al-Hijjah 29, 1445 AH, corresponding to July 5, 2024, at 22:57 UTC.

Possibility of seeing the crescent moon

Friday 29 Dhu al-Hijjah 1445 corresponding to July 5, 2024:

• Red areas: Seeing the crescent is impossible due to the moon setting before sunset or surface conjunction occurring after sunset.
• Blue areas: The crescent can be seen using a telescope only.
• Pink areas: The crescent can be seen using a telescope, and if the atmosphere is clear and observed by an experienced observer, it can be seen with the naked eye.
• Green areas: The crescent can be seen with the naked eye.

Saturday 30 Dhu al-Hijjah 1445, corresponding to July 6, 2024

• The crescent moon can be seen with the naked eye in green areas.
• It can be seen using a telescope in the pink and blue areas.

• Eastern Range: The month of Muharram 1446 AH begins on Sunday, July 7, 2024.
• Western Range: The month of Muharram 1446 AH begins on Sunday, July 7, 2024.
