Clouds will appear at medium and high altitudes, interspersed with cumulus clouds in the northern mountains. Local showers accompanied by thunderstorms are likely in parts of these areas, accompanied by light to moderate winds, which will sometimes be active and cause dust storms, especially in the southern regions.

Very hot weather during the weekend and the beginning of next week

According to preliminary indicators, the hot air mass is expected to intensify further at the end of this week and the beginning of next week, with extremely hot weather expected across all regions, particularly the central and southern regions. Clouds will continue to appear at medium and high altitudes, and there remains a chance of local thunderstorms in parts of the northern mountains.

Temperatures will exceed the forties starting Friday.

As the heat intensifies over the weekend, high temperatures are expected to hover around the 40s Celsius in various regions, including the capital, Baghdad, and may reach mid-40s Celsius in some southern areas next Monday.

Dust storms expected in southern regions on Thursday and Friday
