The Journey has been engineered inside and out after rigorous testing in adidas labs linked to the movement of winds on the court, resulting in the creation of the Journey that delivers the highest levels of precision and stability on the field.

SPEEDSHELL Ball Leather is made of polyurethane (PU) and features a large microfiber texture and a new 20-piece panel shape, which enhances aerodynamics for improved accuracy, velocity stability in the air and shifting motion during the shot.

Designed with the environment in mind, all components have been carefully selected and 'The Journey' is the first World Cup ball to be made using only water-based inks and adhesives.
