Weekly Bulletin: Polar depression affecting Saudi Arabia, accompanied by multiple and widespread weather events (details and video)

<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <strong>Weather of Arabia</strong> - <strong>Weather</strong> forecasts for this week indicate that Saudi Arabia is on a date with extremely unstable weather conditions resulting from the progress and impact of a &quot;polar&quot; air depression with a path different from what we are used to. The computer simulation models of the movement of the air masses indicate an air depression moving from the Mediterranean Sea to the middle of Egyptian lands and then towards northwestern Saudi Arabia, instead of this air depression moving from the Mediterranean Sea to the east towards the Levant as usual. And this different path will lead to the emergence of several weather phenomena that affect the Kingdom on Mondays and Tuesday, and they include: </p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><ul style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"><li style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Significant decrease in temperature in the north and northwest of the kingdom, and it reaches zero degrees Celsius and less over the mountains. </li><li style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> As a result of this air depression and its different path, hot and warm air currents flow in its introduction, bringing with it the hot air for the middle and eastern sectors of the Kingdom, including the capital Riyadh, with temperatures exceeding 30 ° C during the day. </li><li style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Heavy thunderstorms, accompanied by showers of hail, are expected to occur in Tabuk specifically. </li><li style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Heavy snow falls on most of the high mountains in Tabuk, and perhaps Almond Mountain is exposed to a strong snowstorm. </li><li style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> A state of air instability, accompanied by thunderstorms and rain expected on different regions of the Kingdom, especially the coasts of the Central Red Sea, including the city of Jeddah, in addition to the region of Hail and the north of Qassim, all the way to Rafha and all regions of the northeast of the Kingdom. </li><li style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The activity of the dust-blowing southern winds in large parts of the central and eastern kingdom on Monday. </li><li style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> A large-scale strong sandstorm (under observation) is likely, with the hours of Tuesday, advancing from the northwest of the Kingdom towards the central and eastern regions, including the capital, Riyadh, it is believed that it will be accompanied by a significant decline of horizontal visibility and high levels of dust. </li></ul><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> And the weather will settle again starting from Wednesday, God willing, and the weather will remain stable Thursday and Friday, and the temperatures in the north and west of the Kingdom will rise significantly compared to what it will be during the middle of the week. </p><h3 style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></h3><h3 style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <strong>Full details can be found in the video of this week&#39;s weekly newsletter, presented by colleague Mohamed El Shaker <a href="https://youtu.be/pHrN3qz3jEY">here</a> or via the following video</strong> </h3><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"><iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/pHrN3qz3jEY" width="560"></iframe></p>
