An extension of a low pressure system increases the chances of rain in some areas of the Emirates

Arab Weather - The latest weather forecasts and numerical model outputs indicate that the UAE will be affected by an extension of a low-pressure system that is expected to lower temperatures and cause scattered showers of rain in some northern and eastern regions of the country.

Rain expected in several areas

The National Centre of Meteorology in the UAE reported that the weather on Saturday and Sunday will be partly cloudy in general, to cloudy at times in some northern and eastern areas, amid expectations of scattered showers of rain in random areas, mostly light, and may include the city of Dubai at times, especially on Sunday.

High humidity and possible fog

During the night hours, surface humidity levels will rise, and fog and light fog are likely to form on Saturday night and Sunday morning in some inland and coastal areas, which may negatively affect horizontal visibility and vehicle movement on the roads.

The winds will be northeasterly to northwesterly, light to moderate in speed, ranging between 10-35 km/h, and the sea will be medium to light in the Arabian Gulf and light in the Sea of Oman.
