وتأتي هذه الحالة الجوية على إثر اندفاع تيارات هوائية من جنوبية غربية من البحر الأحمر محملة بكميات جيدة من الرطوبة النسبية في طبقات الجو المتوسطة والعالية، ويؤدي ذلك إلى تكاثر السحب في تلك المرتفعات وتسقط الأمطار بمشيئة الله.
وتتراجع الحالة الجوية بشكل تدريجي مع نهاية الأسبوع حيث تتناقص كميات السحب وترتفع درجات الحرارة، حيث يكون الطقس مستقرًا بوجه عام وغالباً صافي.
