The rainy season for the year 2018/2019 was a strong season for many Arab countries, as many of them witnessed heavy rains, torrential rains and floods, which led to significant deaths during this year.

• During 6 hours, the equivalent of 111 mm of rain fell, and this figure means that the entire rainy season for Kuwait City fell in only 6 hours.
• The large amount of rain led to the formation of torrential torrents on the roads, which led to the injury of 500 people and the occurrence of one death due to rain and strong torrential rain.
• Government departments and institutions in the country have been suspended.
• The Ministry of Interior called on citizens to take the utmost care and caution in dealing with heavy rain and torrential rain.
