Extreme cold and very low temperatures were recorded by monitoring stations on Saturday morning.

Arab Weather - The monitoring stations of the Jordanian Meteorological Department recorded remarkably low temperatures at dawn and in the morning of Saturday 2-8-2025, reaching their lowest in Ras Munif, where they recorded -1.5 degrees Celsius below zero, and they also touched zero degrees Celsius in Shobak, while Al-Ghabawi recorded one degree Celsius.

Experts at "Arab Weather" attributed the Kingdom's recording of such low temperatures to the Kingdom being affected by the rush of very cold polar winds, the effect of which is expected to continue during the coming days and nights.
