Under a blazing sun and humble hearts, Mina embraces the guests of God on the Day of Tarwiyah.

On the morning of the eighth day of Dhul-Hijjah, pilgrims began arriving at Mina to spend the Day of Tarwiyah, following the example of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him. They gathered in a spiritual atmosphere filled with glorification and talbiyah, amidst hot and tiring conditions, with maximum temperatures reaching 42 degrees Celsius.

Spending the night in Mina on this day is a confirmed Sunnah for those performing both Muqrin and Ifrad, while those performing Tamattu' leave their places in preparation for heading to Arafat at dawn on the ninth day. Pilgrims spend the days of Tashreeq (10-13) stoning the Jamarat in Mina, which has a religious and historical significance, as it witnessed the stoning of the Jamarat and the sacrifice of the fidy during the time of Abraham, peace be upon him, as well as the Pledges of Aqaba and archaeological sites such as the Khayf Mosque and the Bay'ah Mosque.

The Saudi government has provided all necessary security, medical, and catering services to ensure the comfort and ease of movement of pilgrims, in addition to air-conditioned tents and cooling fans that spray water to ease the pilgrims' intense heat.
