Arab Weather - The latest satellite images from Arab Weather indicate local cloud formations covering parts of the Al Hajar Mountains in the Sultanate of Oman. Clouds are expected to develop further over the coming hours and this afternoon, extending to wider areas of the Sultanate, sometimes accompanied by thunder.

God willing, as thunderstorms continue to develop this afternoon and evening, they are expected to affect some southern and eastern parts of the UAE, accompanied by scattered rainfall. There is a possibility of them developing locally and being accompanied by thunderstorms of varying intensity.

Arab Weather warns of the possibility of reduced horizontal visibility on some roads during the development of thunderstorms, due to heavy rain and the formation of downwinds that stir up dust and dirt.
