Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan decided in an official statement issued today to suspend work at ministries, official departments, public institutions and bodies, official universities, municipalities, joint services councils, the Greater Amman Municipality, and companies wholly owned by the government, on Monday, the twenty-fifth of May, in celebration of the Independence Day of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

In another statement issued today, the Prime Minister also decided to set the Eid al-Adha holiday from the morning of Tuesday, May 26th, until the evening of Saturday, May 30th.

The two announcements exclude ministries, official departments and institutions whose nature of work requires otherwise.
