Where are you? (Ajloun Forest Reserve)

Weather of Arabia - The Jawk Win program team set out towards the city of Ajloun, in particular to the Ajloun Forest Reserve, which is approximately 60 km from Amman, as it is located in a northern part of Ajloun Governorate, 8 km north of the governorate center.

It covers an area of 13 km2 and rises between 701 to 1500 meters above sea level. It is covered by dense forests of oak, maple, carob and many others.
Ajloun forests were ranked among the top 100 global sites for 2018.

The reserve provides facilities for nature lovers and organizes programs for visitors to walk inside. It also has cottages suitable for overnighting with a wonderful view.

Ajloun Governorate is characterized by its mountainous nature of varying heights, its picturesque terrain and its stock of dense forest trees, pine and oak forests, as well as its mild weather in summer and cold in winter, as this climate works to attract tourism throughout the year.
