Specialists at "Arab Weather" explained that the cases of atmospheric instability witnessed by the Kingdom are usually accompanied by random rainfall, which leads to a large disparity in the locations and intensity of rainfall within small geographical areas. This disparity is a dangerous factor, as it contributes significantly to the flow of valleys and the formation of torrents that move between regions without the condition of rainfall in the same region. Cases of atmospheric instability are characterized by rapid changes in the atmosphere within very short periods.

These cases are also accompanied by an increased likelihood of large hail and sudden wind activity. Dense dust belts may also form in desert areas before the onset of thunderstorms. It is expected, God willing, that the upcoming case will be mainly concentrated in the southern and eastern regions of the Kingdom, which requires caution and preparation.

Starting from Wednesday morning, a state of atmospheric instability will form, as cumulus clouds multiply over several areas of the southeast and east of the Kingdom, with showers of rain accompanied by active surface winds that stir up dust and dirt before the impact of cumulus clouds, which may extend towards some major cities.
Rainfall will vary in intensity and will sometimes be accompanied by thunderstorms, especially in the eastern regions. Some areas are likely to witness heavy rains leading to flash floods or transferred floods, i.e. large flows of water coming from distant areas to others that have not witnessed local rainfall. Water levels are also expected to rise on roads, especially in the areas east of Mafraq and Safawi, in addition to parts of Zarqa, especially the Azraq area and the Baghdad International Road heading towards the Trebil border crossing with Iraq.
As the night hours begin, i.e. Wednesday/Thursday night, the unstable weather conditions will ease, but there is still a chance of local showers of rain in limited areas of the eastern part of the Kingdom.
