Temperatures are on the cusp of 50 degrees Celsius in five Arab countries by the end of June.
Arab Weather - Computer models at the Arab Weather Center indicate that a subtropical high pressure system is strengthening and expanding northward, affecting large areas of the Arabian Peninsula. This will fuel what is known as a heat dome, further heating air masses near the Earth's surface and transforming them into extremely hot air masses with a blazing center.
A blazing center of an extremely hot air mass is positioned over the region, with temperatures around 50 degrees Celsius.
God willing, Iraq, Kuwait, eastern Saudi Arabia, the interior regions of the UAE, and the Sultanate of Oman are expected to be affected by this extremely hot air mass with a blazing center accompanying the heat dome. Consequently, temperatures will rise significantly, becoming several degrees Celsius higher than usual, and temperatures will approach 50 degrees Celsius, and may even exceed it in parts of central and southern Iraq and the interior and desert regions of Kuwait by the end of this month.
During the night hours, the weather is relatively hot to extremely hot and stifling in various regions. This is due to the northern Arabian Peninsula being affected by the so-called heat dome phenomenon, which intensifies at this time of year and reaches its peak during the summer months, especially July and August.
And God knows best.
