Despite the relatively warm weather in the Kingdom, the weather remains cold at night, with temperature differences between day and night ranging from 10-12 degrees Celsius, increasing the chances of catching colds and seasonal illnesses, especially for children and school students.

The scientific reason behind the cold weather at night is that the Earth's surface loses the heat it gains during the daytime hours, which is considered small compared to other times of the year due to the tilt of the sun's axis. Therefore, the amount of heat energy gained during the day becomes less and the amount lost during the night is greater.
