Arab Weather - The Organizing Committee of the Arab Cup revealed today, Monday, the model of the championship cup, which will be hosted by Qatar during the period between (30) November and (18) next December.

The model for the Arab Cup is made of pure gold, and it also includes a map of the Arab world and the word “Mawtani”, and ripples that mimic the ancient Arab trade routes.

16 teams will participate in the FIFA Arab Cup, divided into four groups.

The Arab Cup was launched for the first time in 1963, organized by the Arab Football Association, but it only played 8 times for many reasons, most notably related to the political and economic situation of Arab countries.

Iraq has won the title four times and holds the record, while Saudi Arabia won the cup twice, and Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia won it once.

The last edition of the Arab Cup was held in 2012 in Saudi Arabia, and the Moroccan team won it at the expense of its Libyan counterpart.
