Urgent: Weather forecast warns of severe dust storms and rain in 3 regions today
The National Center for Meteorology expects, God willing, that the Tabuk, Al-Jawf and Northern Borders regions will be affected by active to very high-speed winds, which may lead to dust storms and a decrease in horizontal visibility, with the possibility of light rain in some areas.
Thunderstorms are also expected in parts of Najran, Jazan and Asir, accompanied by hail showers and active winds.
In the Red Sea, surface winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly, shifting to northwesterly at night, with speeds of 12–35 km/h in the north and 10–25 km/h in the central and southern regions. Wave heights will range from half a meter to one and a half meters in the north and from half a meter to one meter in the central and southern regions, with sea conditions ranging from slight to moderate.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northeasterly to southeasterly in the north, and northwesterly to westerly in the central and southern regions, with speeds of 10–32 km/h. Wave heights will range from half a meter to one and a half meters, with sea conditions ranging from slight to moderate.
