This afternoon, the Minister of State for Information Affairs made several important statements regarding the Corona file, which were as follows:

• At the National Center for Security and Crisis Management, the official work teams representing the various sectors work around the clock to take the necessary measures and decisions in light of this crisis.
• Since the morning, we have held a number of important meetings, headed by the Prime Minister, Dr. Omar Al-Razaz, that included the economic and commercial sectors, particularly those concerned with food stocks and supplies, to ensure that they are provided to citizens.
• We reaffirm that food supplies, especially basic commodities, are available in safe quantities, and there is no need to store or rush them.
• Air, land and sea shipping are continuous and not stopping, so the supply of food stocks is proceeding as usual.
• As of this morning, the number of injuries is 56, including the recovered citizen.
• The number of hotels that were rented for the purposes of quarantine (34) hotels, including (23) hotels in Amman, and (11) hotels in the Dead Sea.
• Great thanks and gratitude to citizens for their commitment to the instructions issued to maintain their safety.
• Much thanks and gratitude to the Al-Safavi Arab army, and all the ranks of our security apparatus, for their great efforts in controlling the system and maintaining the safety and protection of citizens.

The Minister of Health, Dr. Saad Jaber, stated thus: We expect the number of injuries to decrease in the coming days.
