Weather of Arabia - The President of the Azraq Farmers Association , Mr. Fahd Al-Hanahna, confirmed that there were cases of frost recorded on several farms in the region, and pointed out that no damage was recorded as a result of farmers’ delay in cultivating their lands, with the aim of avoiding potential damage.

In his statements on Thursday, Al-Hanahna advised the importance of postponing crop planting until the beginning of February, and following preventive measures by covering crops with plastic covers.

He noted the necessity of irrigating crops in the early hours of dawn , due to the warmth of the water available in the wells during the winter, while things are different when summer approaches, when the water temperature becomes cold. Khaddam explained in his interview with the media that the potato crop was affected by some damage in The northern regions, especially in Wadi Al-Rayan, are affected by early and late blight, noting the need for farmers to spray their crops to protect against upcoming blights.
